A tutor is an AI assistant you set up for a particular subject, topic or class. You can build one by talking to the Educator Agent, or write the prompt yourself.
Starting a new tutor
1. Open My Library from the sidebar.
2. Click Create in the top right, then Tutor.
3. Choose how you want to build it.
With Agent opens a conversation with the Educator Agent. Tell it what you need, in your own words, and it writes the tutor for you. Easiest if you are not sure how to phrase a prompt.
From scratch gives you the form: a name and a prompt you write yourself. Best when you know exactly what you want the tutor to do.
Writing it from scratch
Give the tutor a Name your students will recognise, then write the Prompt. The prompt is the instruction set: who the tutor is for, what it should do, and what it should not do. The formatting toolbar takes headings, bullets and numbered lists if a longer prompt is easier to read that way.
Create the tutor and it opens ready to chat.
