You can build a tutor by talking to the Educator Agent instead of filling in a form. It asks the questions that matter, drafts the tutor, and leaves you with something you can test straight away.
Starting
When you create a tutor, pick With Agent.
That opens a fresh chat and starts the conversation for you. The other option, From scratch, opens the manual form if you would rather set everything yourself.
What it will ask you
Expect questions along the lines of who the tutor is for, what subject and level, what it should help with, and how it should behave. Answer in plain language. If you already know exactly what you want, say it all at once and it will work from that.
After it is built
The tutor appears in your library, ready to open, test and refine. Nothing reaches students until you assign it.
You can keep going in the same conversation to change it. Say what you want different and the agent adjusts the tutor rather than starting a new one.
One thing worth knowing
If you change a tutor and then want to test it, start a new chat with the tutor. An existing chat carries on with the instructions it began with, so it will not reflect your change.
