Your agent is your own study companion. It knows the classes you are in and the work you have been set, so you can ask it about your own subjects rather than starting from scratch every time.
Your agent appears only if your school has turned it on. If you cannot see Agent in the menu, ask your teacher.
Start a chat
Tap Start a new chat on Home, or Agent in the menu. A few suggested prompts appear if you are not sure where to begin.
Type your question in the box at the bottom and tap the send arrow.
Talk instead of typing
Tap the microphone on the right of the message box, say your question, then tap it again to stop. What you said is turned into text in the box, where you can fix anything it misheard before you send it.
The first time you use it, your phone asks permission to use the microphone. Allow it, or the button will not do anything.
This is different from Voice Mode on the website, which is a spoken back-and-forth conversation. On your phone the microphone types for you, and the agent replies in writing.
Add a photo, a file or a drawing
Tap the plus on the left of the message box.
Camera takes a new photo, which is handy for a question in a textbook or a page of your working.
Photos picks an image you already have.
Files picks a document, such as a PDF your teacher shared.
Draw opens a canvas so you can sketch the problem and send the sketch.
Your phone will ask permission the first time you use the camera or your photos. Photos taken on an iPhone are converted automatically, so you do not have to worry about the file type.
Picking a model
The name at the top of the chat is the AI model you are talking to. Tap it to switch to another one your school allows. Tutors do not have this, because your teacher chooses the model for a tutor.
Finding a chat again
Every chat saves by itself. The menu lists your recent chats, and All chats shows the full history. Tap any of them to carry on where you left off.
