Tags label a tutor by subject. They are what the subject filters in the Community gallery run on, so tagging matters most when you share a tutor beyond your own library.
Adding tags
1. Open My Library from the sidebar and click your tutor to open it.
2. Click Tutor settings in the top right.
3. Scroll down and open Advanced settings.
4. Click Select tags to see the list.
5. Click each tag you want. You can pick more than one, so a revision tutor for Grade 11 chemistry can carry both Science and Chemistry.
6. Click Save changes in the top right.
Where your tags do something
Tags drive the subject filters in the Community gallery. If you share the tutor publicly, a colleague browsing Community can click your subject and find it. An active tag there is outlined; clicking it again clears the filter.
Tags do nothing while a tutor's visibility is set to private, which the settings page reminds you of underneath the field.
Inside your own library there is no tag filter. Use the search box and the type filter to find your own tutors.
