This guide covers the key setup tasks for IT administrators deploying Mindjoy in your organisation.
Organisation setup
As an IT administrator, you can manage your organisation's settings, educators, students, and integrations from the Organisation section in the sidebar (under your educator account with admin role).
LMS integrations
Mindjoy integrates with your existing Learning Management System to streamline student and classroom management:
Google Classroom - Automatic roster sync to keep classrooms and student lists in sync with Google Classroom.
Canvas LTI 1.3 - Secure integration with Canvas using LTI 1.3. Students launch Mindjoy directly from Canvas courses.
Microsoft Teams - Organisation-level and educator-level integration with Microsoft Teams for Education.
To set up an integration, navigate to Organisation > Settings > Integrations in the educator dashboard.
Student account management
Students can join classrooms using short codes, direct links, or through LMS integration. Administrators can:
View and manage all students in the Organisation > Students section
Graduate or archive students in bulk
Monitor student activity across classrooms
Educator management
Invite educators to your organisation from Organisation > Educators. You can set roles (educator or admin) and manage permissions.
Moderation settings
Configure content moderation policies for your organisation from Organisation > Moderation. You can set moderation levels (Strict, Moderate, or Lenient) and customise the messages students see when content is moderated.
