Tip: Learning descriptions
For every new student message, we pass the recent conversation context to an LLM and get it to label/classify the tone and sentiment of the message. The LLM draws on its internal understanding of language and intent to assign the correct label each time.
Some examples of how this could be applied:
Curious π€
Expresses interest, asks questions, or seeks additional information
Confused π
Expresses misunderstanding, uncertainty, or asks for clarification
Neutral π
Neither expresses curiosity nor confusion; conveys information without clear emotional or inquisitive tone
