By default a tutor's description is set to the first few lines within the prompt. This guide shows you how to write effective tutor descriptions that help students and other educators understand the tutor's purpose and capabilities.
1. Navigate to https://beta.mindjoy.com/educators/tutors to find your tutor. Then click the tutor's name to open the chat
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Scroll down to find and click on "Advanced settings"
4. Click into the "Short Description" field, and add in your tutor's description
Alert: Note: The tutors description will be visible to students when you assign it to a classroom
5. Click "Save Changes"
Tip: Tip: The following steps show you how to verify that the tutor description has been changed
6. Click on "Tutors" to go back to the collection of tutors you have created
7. The new tutor description should now be visible
