This guide shows you how to remove individual chat conversations from your tutor's chat history.
How to delete a tutor chat
1. Open a tutor that you have had conversations with. Your chat history appears in the left sidebar.
2. Hover over the chat you want to delete. A three-dot menu icon appears on the right side of the chat entry.
3. Click the three-dot menu. A dropdown appears with two options: Rename and Delete.
4. Click Delete. A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you are sure.
5. Click Delete to confirm. The conversation and all its messages will be permanently removed.
Renaming a chat
You can also rename a conversation from the same three-dot menu. Click Rename to give the chat a more descriptive title.
Things to note
Deleted chats cannot be restored
Only educators can delete their own tutor chat conversations
Students do not have the option to delete tutor chats
