You can talk to a tutor instead of typing. Dictation turns your speech into text in the chat box, so you can check and edit it before it is sent.

1. Open the tutor and click into the chat box.

2. Click the microphone button on the right of the composer to start recording.

3. Speak, then click it again to stop. Your words appear as text in the box.

4. Read it through, fix anything the transcription got wrong, and send.

The waveform button next to it starts a voice conversation, where you talk and the tutor talks back. Dictation just fills in the chat box.

Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time.
