The rich text editor improves your ability to write and format content on Mindjoy.Rich text formatting with headings, bold, italics, and structured lists allows you to seamlessly combine text, math, and code in your responses. This guide shows you how
1. Navigate to your tutor
2. To open or close the text editor Click on "Aa" button
3. When open, the text editor tool bar will appear just above the chat box
4. Click here.
Adding a Heading
5. Type your text inside the chat box
6. Highlight the text you'd like to change into a heading and then select H1, H2 or H3 to turn the text into a heading
7. The text will change into a Heading format
Adding bold text
8. Highlight the text you'd like to make bold and click on the 'B' button within the text editor toolbar
9. The text will change into a bold format
Adding a numbered list
10. To add a numbered list, highlight the text you want to turn into a numbered list and click on the 'Numbered List' button
11. The text will change into a numbered list
Adding a bulleted list
12. Similar to the process for adding a numbered list, to make a bulleted list, simply click on the 'Bulleted list button'
13. The selected text will be formatted into a bulleted list
To add a code block
14. Clicking on the code-block icon '[[<>]]' enables you to add code block.

Adding a table
16. Click the 'table' icon.

Adding inline Math
20. Click on the "Xn" icon to add inline Math. Note that the maths keyboard will pop-up when you click into the square box that is created after you click on the inline math icon
