Organising your library with folders

Group lessons, pathways and tutors into folders, and move things between them.

Written by Kat Morgan

Folders let you shape your library around the way you actually teach, by term, by grade, by topic, or by whatever keeps next Monday findable.

A folder can hold lessons, pathways, tutors and other folders, so you can nest as deeply as you need.

Making a folder

Click Create, then Folder, give it a name, and it appears in the view you are currently in.

Moving things in and out

Drag an item onto a folder to file it, or use the item menu and pick Move to choose a destination from a list. Moving something never changes who can see it, only where it sits.

To move several things at once, click Select, tick everything you want, then move the whole batch together.

Renaming and deleting

The folder menu offers Rename and Delete. Deleting a folder moves it to the trash along with what is inside it, so nothing disappears without a way back. See restoring something from the trash.
