Downloading and exporting documents from the Educator Agent

Written by Kat Morgan

When you ask the Educator Agent to write something longer, like a worksheet, a set of notes, a rubric or a parent letter, it can produce a proper document that you can preview, copy and download. This keeps the chat readable and gives you a clean file to use outside Mindjoy.

Asking for a document

Ask the agent for the content you want and mention that you would like it as a document. For example: "Write a one-page study guide on photosynthesis I can hand out" or "Draft a letter to parents about our upcoming science fair."

When the document is ready, a card appears in the chat with buttons to download it and to open a full preview.

Previewing the document

Open the document to see it in a preview panel beside the chat. You can keep chatting to refine it, and the preview updates as the agent makes changes. Drag the divider to make the panel wider or narrower.

Downloading and copying

Use the Download button to save the document. You can save it as a PDF, ready to print or share, or in its original format such as Markdown or HTML. There is also a copy button that puts the full contents on your clipboard so you can paste it straight into another tool.

If the agent produces a data file instead, such as a CSV or JSON export, it appears as a download card in the chat that you can save directly.
