Mindjoy notifies you when your teacher assigns new work or adds you to a classroom. Notifications appear in the Inbox in the sidebar, with a badge showing how many unread items you have.
Opening the Inbox
Click Inbox in the sidebar to see your notifications. Each one shows what happened, who did it, and when.
Click on any notification to go directly to the lesson, pathway, tutor, or classroom it refers to.
What you get notified about
New lesson assigned
Your teacher assigns a lesson to your classroom. The notification shows the lesson name and includes due date details if one has been set.
New pathway assigned
Your teacher assigns a pathway (a sequence of lessons) to your classroom. You can see when it starts and when it is due.
New tutor available
A tutor is assigned to your classroom. Click through to start a chat with the tutor.
Added to a classroom
You are added to a new classroom. Click through to see what is assigned there.
Managing your notifications
Use the Only show unread toggle to filter out notifications you have already seen
Use the more menu to Mark all as read or Archive all to clear your inbox
Email digest
You can opt in to a daily email that summarises any unread notifications from the past 24 hours.
Go to Settings > Email preferences and toggle Send me a daily digest email of my notifications.
