You can remove a lesson from a pathway without deleting it. The lesson remains in your Lessons library and can be added to other pathways or assigned independently.
Removing a lesson
1. Open the pathway containing the lesson.
2. Find the lesson in the pathway outline.
3. Click the more menu (...) on the lesson row and select Remove.
4. Confirm the removal in the dialog that appears.
What happens when you remove a lesson
The lesson is removed from the pathway sequence
The lesson still exists in your Lessons library
Existing student submissions for that lesson are preserved
Derived access from this pathway is revoked (editors of the pathway will lose automatic edit access unless they have direct access)
Removing vs deleting
Removing a lesson from a pathway only breaks the link between them. The lesson and all its content remain intact.
Deleting a lesson permanently removes it from your library, all pathways it belongs to, and all associated student data. This action cannot be undone.
