Using the Editor: Code Blocks (Legacy editor)

Mindjoy uses editors for Pathways content, including adding code blocks.

Written by Kat Morgan

This article covers the Legacy editor. Lessons built in the New editor work differently. To add a code block in the New editor, see Adding images, tables and code to a lesson. New to the difference between the two? Start with The new lesson experience.

Mindjoy uses editors in a number of places, chief amongst these is in the creation or editing of Pathways content. Let's take a look at adding a code block to your content.

1. Add a code block by clicking on the <> button on the toolbar.

2. Write or paste your code in the grey block that appears, code will be presented in a monospaced font and respect your indentation and tabs. Don't forget to click "Save".
