Copying a tutor gives you a duplicate you can change freely. The original is untouched, so this is the safe way to adapt a tutor for a different class, a different year group or a different level of support.

1. Open My Library from the sidebar and find the tutor you want to copy. If you have a lot of content, set the type filter to Tutors to narrow the list.

2. Click the tutor to open it.

3. Click the three dots to the right of Assign.

4. Choose Make a copy.

​

5. The copy is created and opens straight away.

​

6. The new copy also sits in My Library, next to the original.

​

Open Tutor settings on the copy and change whatever you need: the prompt, the Socratic level, the short description, the tags. Nothing you do here affects the tutor you copied from.
