STEM mode turns on accurate calculation and proper visualisations, so a tutor can work through maths, science, physics and chemistry properly rather than approximating.
Turning it on
1. Open My Library from the sidebar and click your tutor to open it.
2. Click Tutor settings in the top right.
3. Scroll to STEM mode and turn the toggle on.
4. Click Save changes in the top right.
Test it
Go back to the tutor and click New chat. Settings changes do not apply to a conversation that is already running, so always start a fresh chat to see them.
Ask for something that needs real working, such as solving an equation or plotting a graph. With STEM mode on the tutor calculates rather than estimates, and renders the maths properly.
