If you've got existing materials, like lesson notes, slides, questions, past papers or even textbook chapters, you can use our AI assisted lesson builder to create a lesson for your students in a matter of minutes.
1. From within your Pathway, click the 'Add a new lesson' button at the bottom of the page.
2. You'll be given the option to start from scratch or to start with AI, pick the AI option.
3. Click "Next"
4. Click or drag to upload a PDF file with existing content, this will form the basis of your lesson.
Alert: A maximum size of 10Mb, or 30 pages, is required for your PDF file: this is to ensure that the lesson is a manageable size for your learners.
5. Select the type of lesson you'd like to create
Tip: The types of lessons generated can be one of the following:
Teach: Where your content is interleaved with questions to check for understanding.
Practice: Where your content is reduced and more questions of different types are used to revisit or practice the learnings.
Assess: Uses the content to generate Bloom's based questions of progressive difficulty for assessments.
Copy My Lesson: Just extracts your content, if you have questions and mark schemes already in the content it will make sure that it uses your mark schemes in the marking.
6. Click "Generate Lesson"
7. Our AI Assisted Lesson builder will take 2-3 minutes to extract the content and build relevant questions, take the time for a quick meditation break, cup of tea, or 50 sit ups.
8. When it's done its work you'll see this message. Click "Continue"
9. And there you go! One lesson using your content with added questioning!
