You can achieve VERY bespoke results with AI lesson generation using the custom instructions available, whether you want to translate everything to a different language, only include questions from a certain topic, or change the way the pathway extract the content you have complete control over the generation.
1. Find your way to the Pathway you want to add a lesson to.
2. Click "Add Lesson"
3. Select your Questioning Method, in this example we'll use the 'Explain' mode.
4. Upload your document and click in the Additional Instructions box
5. Here you can type your custom instructions, you can use this to:\
Only extract certain content
- Explain the types of questions you want generated\Describe how you want the content formatted\
Transform the text, translate or convert\
Ignore or skip certain content
I'm going to go with "Please only extract the first section - the overview"
6. Click "Create Classwork"
7. Once it's finished generating click to explore the generated lesson.
8. In this example we've only extracted content from the first part of the uploaded document, as requested.
