When you are marking, you can move between students without going back to the list each time.
Stepping through students
Open the classroom from the sidebar, go to Assignments, click the assignment and then the lesson.
On the Students tab, click a student's name to open their work. The drawer has previous and next arrows in its header, plus a dropdown listing everyone, so you can work straight down the class.
Or go question by question
The Blocks tab does the same thing the other way round: pick a question and see how everyone answered it. Better for spotting a misconception the whole class shares.
