Inserting them
Click into the page where you want it, type /, and pick from the menu. Typing after the slash filters the list.
Image to upload a picture. Caption it underneath.
Table for tabular data, typed straight into the cells.
Code sits in the formatting toolbar, which keeps indentation and uses a monospace font.
Anything you put above a question is read by the auto-marker when it marks that question, so a diagram or a passage above a Long Answer is genuinely used rather than decoration.
