Students join a classroom with a short join code. You can ask the Educator Agent for a classroom's join code at any point in a chat, and it will show the code along with a QR code that students can scan to join on their phones.
Asking for a join code
In an agent chat, ask for the join details of a classroom by name. For example: "Show me the QR code to join Year 10 Physics."
The agent replies with a card showing the join code for that classroom.
Showing the QR code
Click Show QR code on the card to open a larger view. From here you can:
Let students scan the QR code to open the join page on their own device
Copy the join code or the join link to paste into a slide, email or learning platform
Download the QR code as a PNG image to drop into a presentation or print out
This is handy at the start of a lesson: put the QR code on the board and students can join the classroom in a few seconds without typing anything.
