To keep accounts safe, Mindjoy locks an account after multiple failed sign-in attempts in a row. If this happens to you, you do not have to wait or contact support. We email you a link that unlocks the account straight away.
Why your account was locked
The lock is an automatic security measure. After a few incorrect password attempts, Mindjoy temporarily locks the account so that nobody can keep guessing your password. It is not a sign that anything is wrong with your account, and none of your work is affected.
Unlocking your account
1. Check the inbox for the email address on your account. You will find a message from Mindjoy with the subject line about unlocking your account.
2. Click the unlock link in that email.
3. You land on a confirmation page that reads "Account unlocked". Click Sign in and log in with your usual password.
If you no longer remember your password, use Reset your password before you sign in.
If the link does not work
Unlock links expire for security, and each one works only once. If your link has already been used or has expired, you will see a page that reads "We couldn't unlock your account".
To get a fresh link, go back to the sign-in page and try to log in again. A new unlock email is sent each time the account is locked. If you still cannot get in, reach out to our support team and we will help.
