Once students have completed their work on an Assessment as part of a Pathway, an Educator can access a plethora of data on their achievement as well as their Insights into each and every lesson. In this guide we'll pull together how to access all of this.
1. Open the classroom the work was assigned in.
2. Go to the Assignments tab. Use the Active and Closed filter if you cannot see what you are looking for: an assignment moves to Closed once you close it or its due date passes.
3. Click the assignment, then open its Lessons tab and click the lesson you want. Each row shows how many submissions have come in.
4. You can view the individual grades, and clicking on any specific grade will give you access to the grade breakdown.
5. You can adjust Marks by clicking in the mark field.
6. View the reasoning for the mark given by the AI in the purple box.
Tip: Please note that students are not able to view the reasoning, this is solely for educators to use to moderate the marking process.
7. You can also adjust the feedback that will go back to the student by editing it in the box and clicking Save.
8. Click Close.
9. Click Insights.
10. This Insight report gives you detailed analysis for the entire cohort's progress through the Lesson. Click the downward arrows to reveal more.
The Blocks tab breaks the lesson down question by question, with the average mark and a percentage for each, which is the quickest way to spot the question the class as a whole struggled with.
The Insights tab adds class averages for time and engagement, and groups what students got wrong into common misconceptions, each with its root causes.
