When chatting with the Educator Agent, you can use @ mentions to reference your classrooms, pathways, and lessons by name. This saves time and ensures the Educator Agent knows exactly which item you're talking about.

How to use @ mentions

1. Type @ in the chat input box.

2. A dropdown appears showing your classrooms, pathways, and lessons. Start typing to filter the list.

What you can mention

  • Classrooms - Reference a classroom to ask about its students, assign content to it, or get a classroom overview.

  • Pathways - Reference a pathway to assign it, add lessons to it, or ask about its performance.

  • Lessons - Reference a specific lesson to get details, view insights, or attach a tutor to it.

Examples

  • "How is @Maths 101 doing on the latest assignment?"

  • "Assign @Fractions Unit to @Physics 10B"

  • "Add a tutor to @Photosynthesis Lesson"

  • "Show me insights for @AP Chemistry Pathway"

You can use multiple @ mentions in a single message. The Educator Agent understands which entity is which based on context.

Tips

  • @ mentions are optional - you can always describe what you mean in plain language and the Educator Agent will search for it.

  • If you have many items with similar names, @ mentions are the fastest way to be precise.

  • The dropdown updates as you type, so you can quickly filter to find the right item.
