If you're looking to ensure that students can only sign into Mindjoy with their organisation email address we can help with that! This also enables a neat feature where students are able to sign-up for a Mindjoy account using their SSO details with a single click.
What does domain limiting actually do?
When this is enabled you will need to provide valid email domains that students can sign up with, this allows us to ensure that any student joining your organisation must be using a Mindjoy account registered to an email address with that domain.
For example: if we were to limit sign ups to our email domains of MindjoyUniversity.com and MindjoyU.edu the following students attempting to join your org would see the following messages:

[email protected] - ✅ allowed access
[email protected] - ❌ not allowed access
We have more than one domain for emails, is that a problem?
Mindjoy supports multiple email domains for a single organisation, simply provide us with all your email domains and we'll be able to set things up to work with each and every one.
What is one-click sign up for students?
When both the domain limiting, and any of our SSO options are activated from the administration side, students that click the SSO option when signing up for the first time will be automatically logged into their accounts without needing to manually set up or authorise the account. This saves significant time overall and limits problems with student sign up.
How do I get access to these superb features?
This feature is something that is currently enabled on the Mindjoy administration side, meaning that your administrator would need to email a request to [email protected], making sure to include:
the name of your organisation
the list of domains you'd like them limited to
a date when you'd like this to take effect
